Smoker Vehicle Interior Cleaning in Seattle
That stale smell of smoke like that of an old Las Vegas casino, brown tar on your headliner, burns in the seat covers; these are all signs indicative of a vehicle owned by a smoker. When buying a used car, the seller often advertises the vehicle as being a “non smoker car!” This is because of how hard it is to get rid of the smell and residue left by a perpetual cigarette smoker in their vehicle. To many perspective buyers, a vehicle that smelled like an ash tray when they got inside would be an immediate deal breaker. Luckily if this is your situation or you are just tired of having a car tainted by smoke (or any other smell for that matter), we have a solution for you. This answer is our Smokers Remedy.
With this service, we don’t just mask the effects smoking has on your interior with pleasant scents, we actually eradicate them. On average, we are able to completely remove between 75 and 100% of all residue and smell. The first step in revitalizing your interior is our Interior Detail PLUS. This process starts with an initial full vacuum and cleaning of all vinyl interior surfaces, before moving onto the inside windows, and then headliner. Next, any obvious stains are spot treated with pretreatment prior to extraction . Then to make sure all residue has been extracted, all carpets and cloth upholstery are thoroughly steam cleaned.
The next step in the process is giving it our Ozone treatment. With this machine we are able to convert Oxygen (o2) into Ozone (o3) which will kill any viruses, germs or fungi which may be causing it to smell inside your vehicle. Next is our HVAC Cleansing. While the Ozone machine will make sure any bacteria inside your HVAC system is neutralized, this is only have the battle. In our HVAC cleansing service, we use a water/alcohol based foaming disinfectant to make sure the entire system is cleaned. This doesn’t require us to completely take apart your interior either. This service actually requires no dismantling of your ventilation systems.
The final step in your Smokers Remedy is a full dry cleaning of your vehicles headliner. As you can imagine, it is your headliner that absorbs most of the tar and smoke. With the use of compressed air, a special tool, and a citrus based cleaner; we are able to clean your headliner without introducing too much moisture into your headliner (moisture is often what makes headliners “fall” as the glues used are often water based).
