Sometimes polishing is not enough to remove all the imperfections in a paints surface. Things like orange peel and deep scratches must be removed with a technique known as “wet sanding” or “color sanding.” This is the process of using a moist, very fine grit sand paper to remove the top layer of a paints clear coat.
